What's Included?
Not just an arrival package; AIFS' Work & Travel Australia has you covered. We kickstart your trip with a week of fun. We are then your resource on the ground to find work, the best travel deals, or just some trustworthy advice.
Work & Travel Australia includes:
- Airport transfer
- 4 nights accommodation at Sydney's award winning Wake Up hostel with breakfasts (8-10 share room - twin/double room upgrade available)
- 5 days jam-packed with activities including:
- Day 1 Tuesday - Check in - most flights will arrive in the evening.
- Day 2 Wednesday - AIFS Welcome breakfast - while enjoying a hot cooked breakfast and fresh fruit plate, we will give you an overview of the week ahead. Then it is off to check out the famous beaches on your Bondi to Coogee Beach walk. This famous walk will take you along the cliffs and beaches of Sydney's eastern suburbs. End your tour with a swim and we will even throw in a voucher for you to treat yourself to a well earned drink at the famous Saltys.
- Day 3 Thursday - Day 1 of your AIFS Orientation. On this day you will learn about Australia, how to find work as well as how you can access our services - whether it is using our free mail service, having your CV checked or finding out where to book a course to work in hospitality. Finish off the day with a voucher for a drink and dinner on us!
- Day 4 Friday - Day 2 of your orientation. After breakfast on us, your morning orientation will cover travelling around Australia. After lunch you will head off on AIFS' in-house City Walking Tour. During your walk you can talk with AIFS plus of course get those photos on the Opera House and Harbour bridge close up! Your day ends with another voucher
- Day 5 Saturday - A sleep-in. And then it is time to say farewell to friends and take the next step on your Australian journey. You have the option to extend your stay in Sydney or start your travels. Either way AIFS will be there to support you.
- Your Work & Travel Australia also includes:
- Day 1 Tuesday - Check in - most flights will arrive in the evening.
- The option of a pre-placed job in agriculture or tourism & hospitality (conditions apply)
